The alpha price in τ, day by day, and what moved it each way.
Log change over the last 16 days +1.34%: protocol buys 0.00%, root sells −24.86%, users net −44.25%, cross-subnet +70.45%, unattributed 0.00%. 1 day still in progress is counted as far as known.
The chart follows the alpha price in τ. Each period starts at its opening price and steps through the mechanisms below, in a fixed order, to its closing price: a step that rises pushed the price up, one that falls pushed it down, and its height is how far it moved the price. A thin line carries each close into the next period’s open; it is dashed where the two differ. The faint candle behind each period is the market’s own open, high, low and close, for context.
With many periods on screen (90 days, or hours), the steps would be too thin to read, so the chart draws the price as a line instead and colours each period by the mechanism that moved it most. Hover a period for the full step-by-step breakdown.
Not here, because they do not move the spot price: the per-block TAO injection into the pool, and burns.
All figures are log changes, not simple percentage changes, so the parts add up exactly to the total; on big moves the two differ (a 10% log fall is a 9.5% price fall).

Inference providers today face fragmented sales channels: they either build direct relationships with each buyer, integrate with closed marketplaces that take a cut, or run their own billing infrastructure. This creates friction for both sides—buyers hunt across platforms for available capacity, and providers spend engineering effort on non-core work like payment settlement and request routing.
A decentralized marketplace where providers operate independently but are discovered and routed through a unified gateway solves this asymmetry. Buyers get a single API key and the network handles routing to available capacity. Providers publish quotes, receive signed requests with usage metadata, and earn based on what they actually serve.
Terza Inference implements this on Bittensor: miners configure local upstream model mappings and pricing, publish their quotes through a CLI, and receive routed requests signed by a gateway.
The gateway measures usage from delivered outputs (tokens, seconds, or video frames depending on the model type), bills according to the miner's declared rates, and handles settlement. All configuration stays local—providers never expose upstream credentials or internal architecture to the network.

Terza Inference is a model API marketplace on the Terza Bittensor subnet where miners run a miner service that serves models, meters requests, and settles payments. Buyers use a single Terza API key and the gateway routes requests to available miners. Miners configure local miner configurations, manage quotes for text and media models, and earn emissions based on availability and conformance of their offerings.
The Terza Inference subnet consists of miners running a miner service (terza-miner-node) that handles requests routed by the Terza gateway. Each miner configures local settings including upstream model mappings, pricing, and capabilities via the terza-miner CLI. Requests from buyers arrive at the miner's public HTTPS endpoint with Ed25519 signatures from the gateway, which the miner verifies before forwarding to its upstream service.
The miner meters usage, handles both text and asynchronous media tasks, and settles payments through the gateway. Configuration is stored locally (never leaves the miner), and the gateway only sees public model quotes and performance metrics.
Media models earn emissions when they are available and conforming: gateway health checks, the share of conforming outputs among real tasks, and a few validator probes per day using the cheapest declared parameters. Below 90% conformance the score is 0. Output quality is not graded yet.
For text models, scoring is tied to availability and proper quote management.
