Frontier Dispatch: input is a SCALE-encoded RuntimeCall, dispatched with the caller's mapped origin; decode with the runtime metadata at that block. NOT Ethereum's 0x06 (ecAdd).
Dispatch runs a Substrate runtime call from the EVM. Its input is a SCALE-encoded runtime call (the same encoding a Substrate extrinsic carries), not ABI-encoded arguments, and it is dispatched with the caller’s mapped account as the origin.
On Ethereum, address 0x06 is ecAdd, the elliptic-curve addition precompile. On Bittensor it is Dispatch instead, so a tool that assumes Ethereum’s precompile table misreads calls to it.
It has no ABI and no functions to list. To read a call to it, decode the input with the runtime metadata at that block.
Data: precompile-abis/v471-summaries, subtensor c004cebf3 (github.com, opens in a new tab, external site) (runtime 471). Runtime ranges are the spec versions on subtensor’s main branch when an entry first and last appeared, not the block it went live on chain.
