# Bittensor.ai > Bittensor.ai is the trading platform and explorer for the Bittensor decentralized AI network. Trade subnet alpha tokens with live AMM pricing, and browse blocks, extrinsics, events, calls, subnets, and accounts on the Bittensor blockchain (Finney mainnet), including its EVM layer. All data is sourced from the Bittensor Finney mainnet via indexed blockchain data and a live chain-event stream. ## Main Pages - [Home](https://bittensor.ai): Dashboard with network overview including total subnets, total stake, current block height, TAO market data, and a live feed of recently finalized blocks. - [Trade](https://bittensor.ai/trade): Trade subnet alpha tokens against TAO. Live AMM pricing from on-chain pool reserves, market and limit orders, slippage protection, and MEV-shielded dispatch. Per-subnet trading lives on the subnet page, `/subnets/{netuid}`. - [Buy TAO](https://bittensor.ai/buy): Purchase TAO with other cryptocurrencies via cross-chain swap. - [Leaderboard](https://bittensor.ai/leaderboard): Staker leaderboard — coldkeys ranked by total staked TAO (realizable value across all subnets), with the number of subnets each stakes to and 30-day net rewards. - [Validators](https://bittensor.ai/validators): Root validator funds with net asset value, share prices, holdings, and performance. Detail pages at `/validators/{hotkey}`. - [Learn](https://bittensor.ai/learn): Guides to the Bittensor network — what Bittensor is, how it works, TAO and dTAO economics, plus tracks on mining, staking, validating, and subnet development. - [Blocks](https://bittensor.ai/explorer/block): Paginated list of the latest finalized blocks. Each row shows block height, hash, timestamp, extrinsic count, and event count. Pagination uses `?before=N` (block height) for backward navigation. - [Extrinsics](https://bittensor.ai/explorer/extrinsic): Paginated list of all extrinsics (transactions) on the network. Shows pallet, call name, block height, success status, and signer. Cursor-based pagination via `?cursor=xxx`. - [Events](https://bittensor.ai/explorer/event): Paginated list of blockchain events. Supports filtering by pallet (SubtensorModule, Balances, System, TransactionPayment). Shows pallet, event name, block height, and extrinsic index. Cursor-based pagination with `?cursor=xxx&pallet=X`. - [Calls](https://bittensor.ai/explorer/call): Paginated list of call executions within extrinsics. Supports pallet filtering. Shows pallet, call name, block height, success status, and timestamp. Cursor-based pagination. - [Subnets](https://bittensor.ai/subnets): All active Bittensor subnets displayed in a sortable table. Key metrics include: subnet name, netuid, owner, emission percentage, tempo, registration cost, number of validators/miners, and dTAO token price. - [Proxy Calls](https://bittensor.ai/explorer/proxy-calls): Proxy-executed calls with delegator/delegate attribution. - [EVM Explorer](https://bittensor.ai/explorer/evm): The Bittensor EVM layer. Listing pages for blocks (`/explorer/evm/blocks`), transactions (`/explorer/evm/transactions`), logs (`/explorer/evm/logs`), and contracts (`/explorer/evm/contracts`), each with detail pages. ## Detail Pages The block, extrinsic, event, call and account detail pages below are excluded from crawling in robots.txt because their key space is unbounded. They are meant for direct lookups by URL, not for enumeration. ## Block Detail URL pattern: `/explorer/block/{height}` (e.g., /explorer/block/1000000) Each block page shows: - **Summary**: Block height, block hash, parent hash, timestamp, state root, extrinsics root, spec version - **Extrinsic count**: Total number of extrinsics in the block - **Event count**: Total number of events in the block - **Call count**: Total number of calls in the block - **Extrinsics tab**: Full list of extrinsics with pallet, call, signer, success status - **Events tab**: Full list of events with pallet, event name, parameters - **Calls tab**: Full list of calls with pallet, call name, success status Block data is finalized and immutable — cached for 7 days. ## Extrinsic Detail URL patterns: - By block-index: `/explorer/extrinsic/{blockHeight}-{index}` (e.g., /explorer/extrinsic/1000000-0) - By hash: `/explorer/extrinsic/0x{hash}` Each extrinsic page shows: - **Summary**: Extrinsic hash, block height, extrinsic index, pallet, call name, success/failure, signer address, tip, fee - **Arguments**: Full call arguments decoded from the extrinsic - **Events tab**: All events emitted by this extrinsic - **Calls tab**: Call tree showing nested calls within the extrinsic ## Event Detail URL pattern: `/explorer/event/{blockHeight}-{eventIndex}` (e.g., /explorer/event/1000000-0) Each event page shows: - **Summary**: Event ID, block height, extrinsic index, pallet, event name, phase - **Parameters**: Full decoded event parameters with types - **Description**: Documentation for the event type from the runtime metadata ## Call Detail URL pattern: `/explorer/call/{blockHeight}-{callIndex}` (e.g., /explorer/call/1000000-0) Each call page shows: - **Summary**: Call ID, block height, extrinsic ID, pallet, call name, success/failure, parent call (if nested) - **Arguments**: Full decoded call arguments with types - **Description**: Documentation for the call type from the runtime metadata - **Related events**: Events emitted by the parent extrinsic - **Sibling calls**: Other calls in the same extrinsic ## Subnet Detail URL pattern: `/subnets/{netuid}` (e.g., /subnets/1) Each page opens with the subnet's identity (name, dTAO token symbol, owner account, links), a fact strip (network emission share and rank, market cap, 24h volume, TVL, neuron counts, registration status, live epoch countdown), a live TradingView price chart with a buy/sell panel, and a market snapshot (holders, staker APY, top-10 concentration, Nakamoto coefficient). Four tabs (deep-linkable via `?tab=`): - **Overview** (default): emissions breakdown (network share trend, daily distribution split across miners/validators/owner, staker APY and per-1,000-TAO yield estimate), market metrics (market cap, FDV, TVL, lifetime volume, holders with 7d/30d trends), subnet configuration and hyperparameter change history, registration stats, and the About section (what the subnet does, use cases, team, FAQ) - **Market**: AMM pool state, liquidity depth chart, recycled RAO, emissions table, holder growth chart, and live trade/staking activity - **Participate**: step-by-step miner and validator setup instructions, hardware requirements (GPU/RAM/disk), burn cost, and the subnet's GitHub repository with commit activity and contributors - **Metagraph**: full neuron table with UID, hotkey, coldkey, stake, consensus, incentive, dividends (alpha amount and share of the subnet's dividends), emission ## Account Detail URL pattern: `/explorer/account/{address}` (accepts both hex public key and SS58 address) Each account page shows: - **Balance widget**: Free balance, reserved balance, total balance in TAO - **Account info widget**: Nonce, identity information (if set) - **Subnet stakes**: All subnets where the account has stake, with amounts - **Extrinsics history**: Recent extrinsics signed by this account ## Bittensor Network Concepts - **TAO**: The native token of Bittensor. 1 TAO = 1,000,000,000 RAO (the smallest unit). - **Subnets**: Specialized networks within Bittensor, each focusing on a specific AI task. - **dTAO**: Dynamic TAO — each subnet has its own token that trades against TAO. - **Staking**: TAO holders can stake to validators on subnets to earn emissions. - **Extrinsics**: Transactions submitted to the blockchain (transfers, staking, registration, etc.). - **Pallets**: Runtime modules — SubtensorModule (core), Balances, System, etc. - **Metagraph**: The network graph of a subnet showing all neurons and their properties. ## Learn Bittensor - [Learn hub](https://bittensor.ai/learn): Every guide below, grouped by track -
